Althea Long

Althea Long has had a long and varied career, ranging from being a social worker, educator, entrepreneur and award-winning broadcaster. Today, she considers herself lucky to be back on the air doing what she loves the most. You can hear Althea host THE ALTHEA LONG SHOW, featuring selections from her personal collection (Jazz, Soul, Latin, Reggae and World music). Likewise she produced THE budcoach RADIO SHOW with co-host and best friend the late Carol Carter. Thea and Carol are ‘Grande Dames’ who talk up all things Cannabis.
